Everyone I dealt with was fun and personable, while maintaining an excellent level of professionalism. Prior to my visit to Surgenor, I contacted two other local dealerships and my experience was less than desirable.

I would especially like to give recognition to my Sales Consultant, Steve Morrison, for being attentive to my needs and answering all my questions. Given the situation we are currently experiencing with the shortages in the vehicle industry, Steve kept me regularly updated on the estimated arrival of the vehicle.

The financial Service Managers, Joe Plaza and John Kennedy, were professional. They took the time to explain everything in detail without any pressure and surprises.

I definitely recommend you visit Surgenor before buying anywhere else.

Read moreBuying a brand new car in 2022 is a bit tricky at times and a whole new ball game. A dealer can make it or break it for you and the Surgenor team at Barrhaven GM made it for us. It was a great experience, a class act. While we over anxiously waited for our new Chevy Bolt EUV to come off the assembly line, Steve Morrison kept us up-to-date with regular updates on it's journey to our driveway. Steve was very knowledgeable on electric cars and knew the Bolt well. Even after we bought the car and while waiting for it to arrive we would drop in to look at the floor model and he'd spent a lot of time answering our questions and showing us "stuff" about it ... a lot of stuff. In other parts of the province, and to a lesser degrees in Ottawa, there have been some sketchy tacks at the dealerships with questionable waiting lists and "market adjustments" at the time of sale. My car was ordered July 7th 2021 and when it remarkably arrived exactly a year later July 7th 2022, Surgenor honoured the sale price from a year earlier with no price markups.
