CSN Communication – TD Insurance 0-11 Day Repair initiative

Good Afternoon TD DRP Shops,

TD Insurance has stated to CSN that they are renewing their focus with regards to the 0 – 11 Day Repair initiative which was announced in May 2015. Your TD RVM will be discussing this initiative with you the next time they visit your shop.
The process involves the measurement of time from First Notice Of Loss (FNOL), at TD’s Claims office, to repairs being completed by the shop.

TD Insurance will forward an assignment to the shop and would like the shop to contact the insured as soon as possible to arrange an inspection. Once the vehicle arrives at the shop TD Insurance asks that the shop assess the requirements of the repair. If vehicle repairs require no parts or parts which would not delay repairing the vehicle i.e. moldings, grilles, etc., TD is asking the shop to ground the vehicle, upload an estimate within 24 hrs. and commence repairs as soon as possible. If required parts for the repair are available within a couple of days from order date and would not delay repairs, TD Insurance also asks that you ground the vehicle, upload an estimate and commence repairs as soon as possible.
The goal of this initiative is to have as many vehicles as possible repaired within 11 days of FNOL with TD’s Claims office.
