CSN Sponsoring Community Fundraising Events

Supporting Youth Empowerment at the Thrive Anti-Gala Event

This year, CSN Collision was a sponsor at this year’s Thrive Anti-Gala’s incredible fundraising event, where we helped to exceed their goal while celebrating the outstanding achievements of local youth. The evening was filled with energy, excitement, and unique experiences, creating lasting memories for all involved.

The event featured a variety of interactive activities and games. Guests were able to engage in hands-on experiences like sushi making, improv, upcycling, and even a lively drum circle. There were also opportunities for friendly competition with ping pong and foosball tables set up for guests to enjoy. It was an evening full of fun and creativity, offering something for everyone.

During the sponsor presentations awards were presented to deserving youth selected for their exceptional achievements. These presentations were accompanied by powerful short videos, where each winner shared their personal story of perseverance, growth, and success. It was truly inspiring to see how these young individuals are shaping their futures with determination and passion.

CSN Norgate Car Wash Boosts Well-being

Each year, CSN Norgate works with other members of the community to host an annual fundraising car wash and BBQ at its shop. The location opens its doors and hearts to raise funds for the Prince George Hospice and Palliative Care Society.

The Prince George Hospice and Palliative Care Society is a team of caring professionals delivering compassionate care to patients and families facing end-of-life transitions.

The event, which has raised over $11,000, celebrated its 5th year on June 2nd, 2024.

For a minimum $5 donation, supporters received a vehicle wash by a group of dedicated volunteers and enjoyed a hot dog courtesy of White Goose Bistro. Participants also received an entry to win a cool prize sponsored by Northland Hyundai. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday or $5 bucks!

CSN Collision Clinic – Enriching Lives for 20 years

For 20 years, the CSN Collision Clinic Enriching Lives program has helped families in need of transportation by reconditioning and offering vehicles to them. Along with the gift of a car, CSN Collision Clinic, with the support of several sponsors such as PPG, Bumper to Bumper, Norton, and Enterprise, also provides the vehicle’s first year of insurance, summer and winter tyres, gas cards and family gifts.   How it works:

  • CSN Collision Clinic uploads the application form to its website and publicizes the program to the local community
  • Families in the community fill out applications on CSN Collision Clinic’s website
  • Applicants must provide a driver’s license and a letter explaining how the vehicle will benefit their lives
  • After applications close, CSN Collision Clinic submits all applications to an external committee
  • The committee reviews the applications and conducts reference checks to ensure suitability
  • The committee decides on the successful recipient; the process is tight as the family needs to be able to maintain vehicle ownership and all it entails after the first year.

Check out their website to see all the past winners and how this experience has helped their lives: collisionclinic.com/enriching-lives/.

The goal set out by the founders of WICC AB was to raise $1M in 10 years which they achieved on the 10-year anniversary of the Alberta Chapter.

The fundraiser has been in place for over 30 years in a social setting that encourages networking and opportunities to donate to WICC. Attendees include businesses that are part of the insurance industry such as restoration companies, insurance companies, and auto repair companies. At the event taking place in a local brewery called Bitter Sisters, participants will be treated to a live band, food, drinks, games, 50/50 draws, and a raffle. SugarShack Fundraising Event

The SugarShack party taking place at the Cowboy’s Music Festival Centre from 4pm, July 6th. SugarShack co-chair, David Brown shares, “SugarShack is a party that started out in a backyard with friends in 1999. It has always taken place on “Sneak-a-Peek Night” (the Thursday before the Stampede Parade kicks off). In 1996, the SugarShack party was turned into a fundraiser for various charities including – Kids Cancer Care Foundation, Alberta Cancer Foundation, PASC, Defeat Duchennes Canada, and JDRF. We have raised $457k since we started fundraising, with the help of ticket sales and amazing sponsors such as CSN. Despite the event scaling up over the years, we’ve still maintained the “backyard hang out with friends” vibe. We welcome everyone to come attend, have fun, and help raise funds for the charities we support all while enjoying live performances from the Orange Whip band and Dustin Lynch. Tickets to the event can be purchased here – https://www.showpass.com/sugarshackcmf/ and their proceeds will go to these foundations – Kids Cancer Care Foundation, Defeat Duchennes Canada, and Gems for Gems.”
