Female Voices of Leadership at CSN Collision – Nina Yanchus

In celebration of International Women’s Day, we are proud to recognize this month the women helping shape the future of CSN Collision. Across our network, their leadership and dedication continue to drive progress and inspire those around them.

As Director of CSN Collision Corporate Stores, Nina leads the Corporate Stores team with a focus on operational performance and strengthening the connection between CSN corporate and the shops across the network. Her journey in the collision repair industry began on the shop floor at a CSN licensee facility in Brantford, Ontario. At the time, she did not fully realize where a career in collision repair could take her, but working within the shop environment gave her a deep appreciation for the day-to-day realities of the business and the people behind it.

Nina’s leadership journey has been shaped through experience, adaptability, and a strong commitment to both her team and the customers they serve. Rather than a single defining moment, it has been the everyday experiences of working alongside colleagues, guiding teams through challenges, and helping others grow that have shaped her leadership approach. Seeing team members gain confidence, step into new opportunities, and succeed in their roles continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of her work.

Her experience in the shop environment continues to influence how she leads today. It allows her to approach her role with empathy and credibility, understanding the pressures teams face and the importance of building strong relationships based on trust and respect. She believes effective leadership requires listening, clear communication, and remaining calm and flexible during times of change while keeping both customers and shops at the centre of every decision.

Over time, Nina’s leadership style has evolved into one that is collaborative and inclusive. She values the perspectives and experiences of her team and believes the strongest solutions come from working together. By encouraging open dialogue, engaging team members in decisions, and empowering individuals to take ownership, she helps create a sense of accountability and shared success.

Nina is passionate about developing her team and encouraging professional growth. She motivates individuals to step outside their comfort zones, take on new challenges, and pursue opportunities that expand their knowledge and confidence. Celebrating wins, recognizing contributions, and helping others find their own solutions are all part of how she empowers those around her.

She has also been encouraged to see more women entering the collision repair industry and stepping into leadership roles. While there is always more progress to be made, Nina believes the industry is continuing to move forward by creating new opportunities and removing barriers so women can thrive in the trades.

Looking ahead, Nina is excited about the continued growth of CSN and the opportunity to contribute to the development of the next generation of collision professionals. Helping build strong shop cultures focused on pride, opportunity, and continuous improvement remains a key motivation in her leadership journey.

Outside of work, Nina enjoys spending time with her family. She is a proud mom to a talented nine-year-old daughter and hopes to be a role model she can look up to. Whether baking together, spending time on the water during the summer months, or enjoying music and live concerts, these moments help her recharge and bring balance to her busy schedule.
