We popped into Blaikie's on our way by Truro, just to check out what was available. I was looking for a manual vehicle, which are hard to come by these days, but sure enough, they had one at their New Glasgow location. James had it driven down the following day so I could look at it, and he was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. He allowed me ample time to make a decision, and was patient and considerate as we worked out a deal. There were all-around good vibes from James, and I really appreciated his help finding a new car!

Five months later, and the car is still working great! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new vehicle with dealership staff who are honest, kind, and down-to-earth. Read less

I heard a light ticking in our Promaster conversion in the morning before heading up to Cabot Trail for the day. Blaikie’s was on the way, so I stopped to see if it was something of major concern. Although they were slammed, a very friendly technician listened to the noise and told me it was most likely a failing flexplate. Unfortunately they couldn’t squeeze me in the schedule as this was an 8 hour job and they were booked out for weeks. I ended up canceling the trip and safely headed back to our home dealership to get the repairs completed. My dealership agrees with the diagnosis and it will take a week to get it serviced. Thank you to the friendly service team and for going above and beyond with helping me make the right choice. We will make the trip again in the future to see all that we had planned to.
