Okanagan Wildfire – We Appreciate Your Support!

This summer, the Okanagan experienced some of the most devastating wildfires in its region in more than two decades. As flames grew and spread, so did the support for our first-line responders, volunteers and residents.  

Lift Auto Group, a member of CSN Collision, spearheaded a campaign to give back to the community that supports their 9 BC Interior locations. Once Lift sounded the alarm asking its partners Canada-wide to aid its employees, family, friends, and customers, everyone showed up to reach a common goal.

The effort involved launching a fundraising campaign encouraging donations to local charities that supported those facing the heartbreaking fallout of the wildfires. In its campaign, Lift pledged to match every dollar-for-dollar donation up to $20,000 while hoping to achieve $40,000 in donations for United Way BC, Central Okanagan Food Bank, and Salvation Army. By the end of the campaign, donations had surpassed $110,000, significantly over and above anything Lift could have imagined. Your generous contributions will assist so many on the long road to recovery. Our hearts go out to those who have lost so much during this difficult time.
