CIC Kicks off 2024 with Industry Networking Event

The Collision Industry Conference is a collaborative platform comprising representatives from various industry sectors. CSN Collision sponsored the CIC event, which took place in Palm Springs, California, on January 17, 2024. In attendance were – Ryan Bruno (President and CEO), Jay Howard (SVP Operations), Kristle Bollans (National Director, US Insurance Sales), John Hollingsworth (Director, US Business Development), and Kevork Kahwajian (Field Operations Manager). The event was a packed schedule of strategic planning, networking, and educational activities.

Here’s a highlight of some topics covered at the event:

• Technical Tips – live demo of new tips to assist collision repair shops with cost reduction and increased productivity
• Parts and Materials – the rising importance of ADAS and its impact on repair and refinish decisions
• Estimating and Repair Planning – a recap of all recent changes in information providers’ procedure pages, including a live demo
• Emerging Technologies – an overview of AI and a more in-depth analysis of new developments in the collision repair industry

In addition to the CIC event, CSN Collision representatives participated in related industry events such as NABC and SCRS board meetings, the Women’s Industry Network (WIN) meetup, Recycled Rides, the NABC golf fundraiser, and the CIF gala. These meetings are inclusive and welcome participation from individuals across all industry segments, encompassing repairers, insurers, paint and material companies, equipment manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers, data providers, and representatives of trade associations. It is open to anyone with a vested interest in fostering a more professional and cohesive industry.
