CSN COLLISION CENTRES GROWTH PLAN ON TRACK WITH SIGNING OF SHIRLEY DRIVE

CSN Shirley Drive in Kitchener, ON is the latest facility to join Canada’s market leader

Adding yet another Ontario location in the latter portion of the year, CSN is poised to have the most impressive network expansion year in its history. Originally founded in 2002, CSN has been resilient over the last two decades as consolidation has provided other banners with ample opportunity to carve out much needed market share. Solidifying its position as the industry leader when it comes to high-quality collision and auto body repair, CSN has stayed the course and only recruited the best repairers in each market. CSN Shirley drive located in Kitchener, Ontario represents the latest example of CSN’s steadfast commitment to quality over quantity.

CSN Shirley Drive is owned by Tony Koebel, who doubles down on his dedication to the CSN business model as he is also the manager of CSN Koebel’s, owned by CSN Collision Centres co-founder Rob Pavan. Koebel has tapped manager Jesse Pembleton to run the day-to-day operations at CSN Shirley Drive and with the support of the CSN network he knows that client service levels will get an upgrade. “For us, we had to change networks, running a business is a lot like being the manager of a sport’s team in a way, sometimes to move forward, you need to replace a coach or trade players.” Koebel said. “It’s all what needs to happen in order to win, in our case winning means providing better service to our clients.”

Deeply ingrained in the Kitchener region, Koebel and his staff are heavily involved in community engagement around the location. Sponsoring local sports programs like soccer, baseball, and the Kitchener Rangers Junior A hockey team has allowed Koebel and his staff to develop a strong foundation in the community.  They have also committed to supporting community programs involving children and adults by working closely with the local Lion’s Club, raising money for cystic fibrosis, local churches, food banks, and school nutrition programs. These are just some of the ways the team at CSN Shirley Drive is going beyond vehicle repair to serve the driving community of Kitchener. This type of commitment is typical of repairers who take the step to become part of the CSN network. A family-owned, customer-first approach has withstood the test of time and with operators like Tony Koebel and the repair specialists at CSN Shirley Drive, there will be many more years of prosperity for Canada’s market-leading collision repair network. “Whenever we’re able to recruit an owner from a competing banner it serves as validation that what we are doing is the best thing not just for that independent business owner but for the customers they serve,” said CSN vice president of Sales, Larry French. “The landscape is extremely competitive so, having Tony and his staff involved at two different levels is extremely important to the long-term success of CSN in the region.”
