CSN Collision Centres welcomes local autobody and glass repair shop from Northern BC

Alaska Hi-Way in Fort St. John joins the CSN Collision Centre’s Network.

Recently acquired by Lift Auto Group, CSN Alaska Hi-Way’s reputation for exceptional care and expertise is a welcome addition to the CSN banner.

CSN Alaska has been serving the Fort St. John community for almost 40 years.  Former owner, Lorraine Henderson began her career managing the shop in 1998 before partnering with her son to buy the body shop in 2016 and subsequently the glass business in 2018.

Known in Fort St. John for its gigantic yellow (soon to be CSN blue) hoisted truck above the building, Alaska Hi-Way is a staple in the community. The shop has expanded its facilities throughout its 4-decade standing to better serve the growing population of 21,000 people.

Before her retirement, Lorraine shared her optimism for the future of the shop, “I hope to see my prior business grow and flourish. I think the way of the future for body shops are the bigger chains so that they can remain more competitive,” she says.

Led by Location Manager, Cecil Hanvold, and Repair Coordinator, Tanya Hanvold, the shop boasts a full complement of experienced, skilled technicians who are looking forward to this next chapter in Alaska Hi-Way’s story.

With the support of the CSN network, the shop is now able to leverage new technology, a larger presence within the industry, and more comprehensive training programs. The collision repair industry is constantly changing, and CSN Alaska Hi-Way is positioned to take on the changing needs of their customers, aiding them through every step of the repair process so they can drive away with peace of mind.

“There’s always a lot of confusion with customers when it comes to dealing with insurance. When a customer calls us, we’re going to inform them of the wait time. We can go over what’s involved with the repair and if their insurance covers the cost of getting a rental,” Tanya says.

“We help them to understand the repair a little better and reach out and communicate with adjusters to get their needs met. Our goal is to offer the best customer experience possible and provide safe, high-quality repairs.”
