Disconnect to Reconnect – Highlights from the 2023 CSN Unplugged Conference

Unplugged was the theme of the 2023 CSN Conference, and Deerhurst Resort, against the backdrop of the colorful fall leaves, set the stage perfectly. The location encouraged disconnection from the daily frenzy and helped us dive into workshops, speaker sessions, and the great outdoors. Over the course of three days, CSN licensees, insurance partners, industry vendors, OEMs, press, and more showed up to exchange ideas, learn, network, and reset.

The conference began with industry-specific workshops, after which all enjoyed insightful and motivating presentations from speakers, followed by our licensee-only session, and finally, moved outdoors for some afternoon activities and a sunset bay dinner. Of course, these sessions were punctuated by events dedicated to socializing – the vendor showcase featured vendor and CSN giveaways, fun games, a food and beverage buffet complemented with specialty drink stations, and a live band, Tin Roof. Dressed to the nines, everyone participated in Friday night’s Gala, Fundraising and Excellence Awards event – thanks to you, we raised $25,000 to help the kids at Make-A-Wish Canada! Closing the conference on Saturday, everyone danced the night away to the rock band Wild Shot Honey.

All good things must come to an end, or so they say. Although the conference is over, we can continue to revel in the good times shared and memories created.  We’ve recapped some noteworthy moments below.
