Lift Auto Group (“Lift”) continues its rapid expansion in the Canadian collision repair industry following its 2023 acquisition of Herbers Autobody (“Herbers”), a group of six premier collision repair shops with five in the Edmonton area and one in Grand Prairie.
With a prominent 44-year history, Herbers has created strong ties in the communities in which it operates and is supported by a loyal customer base. Herbers’ customers have come to rely upon the exceptional service they receive from the familiar faces they know and trust.
While Herbers Grande Prairie will keep its name unchanged, Herbers’ North, South, East, West, and Leduc locations are taking on a new look and a slightly new name after joining with CSN Collision network. Working in collaboration with CSN Collision, these five newly named CSN Herbers locations will continue to operate with the same great teams as well as the same unwavering commitment to providing repair solutions for the evolving needs of their customers and their vehicles. While some change is inevitable, Lift aims to ensure that any change is positive. Becoming a member of the Lift family means having access to additional resources and support from a network of professionals who are industry leaders and experts in their field. Part of those resources comes from the partnership that Lift has with the CSN Collision network.
Rodd Hallett, Herbers Autobody President, has been instrumental in creating the company’s reputation as a leading repair brand in the Edmonton area and continues to lead the Herbers team. Rodd who has been with Herbers for 23 years is optimistic about the change in ownership, “Herbers has for years been the repairer of choice in the Edmonton region, and we strongly feel that Lift can further expand its presence in the community. Lift has the resources, manpower and expertise to accomplish this.”
Lift is dedicated to ensuring that the transition of the Herbers brand goes as smoothly as possible to reassure its customers that nothing is changing where service is concerned. Lift already owns and operates two other locations in the Edmonton area: CSN Absolute, Stony Plain and CSN Baseline, Sherwood Park. “We still have the same teams, continuing business as usual, the same technicians that service the cars in the same great way they did when it was Herbers Autobody,” Hallett says. “If anything, there’s more support with Lift Auto Group in terms of technology and ease of doing business. Plus, the value add of a national repair warranty through the CSN network .”
Owned and operated in Kelowna, BC, Lift is a leader in the Canadian collision repair industry. “For decades, Herbers Autobody has been a hallmark of collision repair in Edmonton,” says Lift Auto Group’s president & CEO, Mark Reineking. “The addition of these locations furthers our goal of being the leading collision repair provider in Canada and aligns with Lift’s vision of being at the forefront of the industry through understanding its customers, investing in its people, and embracing technology to deliver a best-in-class experience.”
