Lift Auto Group’s (“Lift”) acquisition of an MSO is a welcome addition to CSN Collision Centres’ (“CSN”) network in BC.
Formerly owned by Abougoush Collision (“Abougoush”) and operated as Boyd Autobody & Glass, the 5 newly named shops have maintained a steady presence in the BC Interior for 20 years. To align with Lift’s other CSN locations, the newly acquired shops will be named CSN Dayton, CSN Merritt, CSN West Kelowna, CSN McCurdy, and CSN Penticton.
Abougoush Collision has garnered much success throughout its tenure; with an unwavering commitment to deliver best-in-class care to its customers, Abougoush Collision has weathered the many challenges presented by an ever-evolving industry.
“For decades, Abougoush Collision has been a hallmark of collision repair in the Okanagan, a result of the hard work and dedication of its former owner, Methal Abougoush, and his team.” says Lift Auto Group, President & CEO, Mark Reineking. “The addition of these locations furthers our goal of being the leading collision repair provider in Canada and aligns with Lift’s vision of being at the forefront of the industry through understanding its customers, investing in its people, and embracing technology to deliver a best-in-class experience.”
A people first business, Abougoush Collision has maintained a steadfast approach to community engagement. Abougoush has established a strong reputation for giving back to its community through fundraising initiatives, individual and team sponsorships and charitable donations. With 5 locations spanning a large region, Abougoush is in the position to be involved in a broad scope of community initiatives and engage with their customers outside of a traditional business setting.
As a collective, Abougoush has actively organized and contributed to numerous projects throughout the Okanagan, including the annual Father’s Day Charity Car Show in Kelowna, BC. All the proceeds go towards the Child Advocacy Centre (“CAC”), a not-for-profit organization for those impacted by child abuse and neglect through meaningful and productive resources and support.
Over the years, Lift’s CSN locations continue to build community rapport with initiatives driven at the floor level. They have been involved in local initiatives including the Food for Thought Backpack Program, the Cops for Kids Charitable Foundation and sponsorship for multiple local sporting teams and associations. Lift shares the same dedication to community engagement and endeavours to continue expanding and amalgamating Abougoush Collision’s contributions into its own initiatives.
Abougoush Collision may now be known as CSN Dayton, CSN Merritt, CSN West Kelowna, CSN McCurdy, and CSN Penticton, but they have never lost the values of quality, trust, and care they shared as a collective. Joining the CSN banner simply means an opportunity to fortify, and more importantly grow, their excellence in business with the support of a nationwide network.
